ABOUT OUR SHOW
Produced by wedding-industry and event experts
KB Productions Inc., the Simcoe County Bridal Show is one of the largest wedding shows in Southern Ontario, offering a curated collection of industry leading exhibitors.
Our goal is to create an inclusive event for everyone to celebrate this exciting milestone, and connect couples with the businesses that fit their vision and personality.
The event had its first show in 2018 at the Barrie Molson Centre and featured 84 vendors. In its second year it gave away an $18,000 Wedding and grew to 95 vendors. In early 2020 it was announced that it would be returning for a 3rd year and hoped to be even bigger and better, but then the pandemic hit.
With couples looking for help, and local wedding professionals needing a platform to connect with customers, KB Productions quickly pivoted to successfully host the event at the Essa Agriplex just outside of Barrie - an outdoor venue, with cover and plenty of fresh air. Capping the show at 40 vendors to follow necessary protocols, the vendor space quickly sold out and the well attended event helped dozens of couples plan their special day during these uncertain times.
The Simcoe County Bridal Show has become one of the can't miss bridal shows in Ontario and is thrilled to be back at it for 2022.
Kristine and her team look forward to working again with so many of our leading wedding industry businesses.
After graduating from Humber College with a diploma in Fashion Arts & Event Management, Kristine soon found a home with Premier Publications and Shows (a division of Metroland Media Group). While working with Premier in their Show division, producing large scale events in the GTA, Kristine enthusiastically wore many hats - taking any opportunity to learn everything she could about the industry. Her professionalism, keen eye for details and passion for bridal events ultimately led to her senior role as Sales Executive & Show Management for the National Bridal Shows.
Kristine took leave from the event management business in 2015 to focus her attention on her growing family in Mississauga. After making the move in 2017, Kristine is thrilled to now call Barrie home.
In 2017 Kristine announced the Simcoe County Bridal Show at the Barrie Molson Centre.
As the Simcoe County Bridal show continued to flourish Kristine expanded her event planning business and worked on various events within the community. Glow - Barrie was one of the many events Kristine out her event planning expertise to use.
In 2020 with the event world coming to a halt Kristine quickly pivoted her event business and began producing virtual events. The Barrie Virtual Market was put in place to help showcase local business during uncertain times. Kristine successfully produced the 2020 Simcoe County Bridal Show under the health guidelines and restrictions of COVID 19.
It is without certainty that Kristine's expertise and years of event planning has given her the knowledge and know how to produces well attended and well planned events!
